Ms. Slupek has over 22 years’ experience in this position and 12 years of teaching experience in the education field. Jadwiga W. Slupek is the School Library Media Specialist at Old Country Road Elementary School in Hicksville, New York. Ms. Slupek is responsible for classroom management, purchasing and circulating books, library classes, Math Olympiads for grades 4 & 5 and RISE classes for grades 3-5. Ms. Slupek is affiliated with the Nassau BOCES Library System and MOEMS (Math Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools). Jadwiga W. Slupek has dedicated her career to educating children and is a truly a stellar professional. Born on June 5, 1955 in London, England, Ms. Slupek obtained a M.L.S. from Queens College in 1992. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, scouting and reading.
