Stella Teresa Holt

Stella Holt is an individual who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for business and personal excellence. Ms. Stella Holt is one of few special honorees distinguished based on her accomplishments, leadership abilities, determination and the credentials she has provided. Stella Holt is self-motivated, results oriented, and driven to succeed in all areas of farming operations and management.
Ms. Holt was born to Sammie and Mildred Atlas in Grandview, TX. She spent much of her childhood on the farm showing cattle and learning how to cook and make clothes. She also volunteered for the nonprofit organization 4-H. Ms. Holt attended Hill Junior College for two years, where she studied general education and agriculture. She married Gary Don Holt on November 20, 1976 in Alvarado, TX, and soon after, became the Owner of Holt Ranch, a 142-year-old, family owned ranch specializing primarily in oats, wheat and hay. Since taking on her role, Ms. Holt has developed a breadth of expertise in all areas of farming, operations and management. Following her husband’s passing in 2014, Ms. Holt took full ownership of the ranch, which until this day, continues to thrive and produce the same high standards of quality that has set the ranch apart for generations. “I’m very proud to keep the Holt Ranch alive and pass it down to the next generation,” said Ms. Holt. “I just love farming and ranching; they’re all I know.” Aside from living the country life, Ms. Holt is never more satisfied than when she is surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Ms. Holt is one of few remaining members of the “Coon Creek Good Neighbors Club”.
